In response to two or more incomings-in-absence, a portable terminal apparatus displays, according to a predetermined order of priority, an image associated with the originator of an incoming-in-absence with the highest priority of the incomings-in-absence on a display screen. Also, in response to an image-canceling instruction, the apparatus cancels an image currently displayed on the display screen and displays an image associated with the originator of an incoming-in-absence with the highest priority next to the incoming with the cancelled image of the incomings-in-absence. |
