FIELD: heat power engineering. ^ SUBSTANCE: according to proposed method of operation of thermal power station steam is generated in boiler into which fuel and air are delivered, and said steam is directed to turbine whose shaft is connected with rotor of turbogenerator and constant cooling of windings and core of generator is provided owing to circulation of hydrogen through its inner spaces. Hydrogen is cooled in gas coolers in which part of air required for operation of boiler is used as cooling medium, and said cooling medium, after gas coolers, is delivered by blast fan into boiler furnace. ^ EFFECT: increased economy of thermal power station owing to use of heat of windings and core of turbogenerator in cycle of operation of thermal power station. ^ 1 dwg |
