The invention relates to engines, in particular, to engines in which a working medium is embodied in the form of an aqueous phase, and can be used for energy engineering. Said invention makes it possible to produce an operating movement of a flexible working member in such a way that it enables to convert said movement into a required power by reducing a pressure action produced on a hollow element which is arranged on said flexible working member and placed in an aqueous phase and by simultaneously producing a force directed tangentially to the circle thereof. The inventive water engine comprises a hollow body (1) provided with a unit (2) which is arranged therein in such a way that it enables a torque to be transmitted, a closing device embodied in the form of a rotatable ball (3) or cylinder (4) is arranged in the lower part in an axial alignment manner with the unit axis. The unit (2) and the closing device (3) or (4) are encompassed by the flexible working member (5) to which hollow elements are fastened at a fixed pitch. Said closing devices (3, 4) are provided with cavities (7) comprising membranes (8) in the form of closing elements. The closing device can comprise channels (9) communicating with the membranes (8). A spring-loaded roller (10) is mounted on the axis of the closing device, wherein said roller is shaped in such a way that the top part of the surface thereof copies the ball surface line. |
