A method for utilization of articles that contain explosive substance in which initiation of articles is performed in liquid that is salt solution at temperature not less than temperature of initiation of explosion of explosive substances present in articles, and at the way of discharge of gas explosive products formed damping elements are additionally installed. The invention makes it possible to increase safety of process of utilization, to decrease losses and to increase general productivity of process.
