Equipment for 2-stage molding in a compression injection press includes a transfer pipe (20) parallel to the mold opening-closing direction, between a diversion channel near the press nozzle and a return chamber (30). The pipe is wedged in an annular seal and mounted slidably in the punch. The return chamber is connected via a radial channel (32) with an axial channel (33) connecting with axial channels (34) in the punches, for dosing material distributed by the nozzle. Equipment for 2-stage molding in a compression injection press comprises, between the two opposed platens (A, B) of the press: at least two individual molds (M1'', M2''), each consisting of a matrix (23) connected to a press platen and crossed near the press nozzle (6) by diversion channel(s) (25a); a punch (24), linked back-to-back with the punch of the other mold by an intermediate connecting piece (29); and an annular seal (27), slidably mounted on and around the punch, forming a sealed connection with the punch during the injection and molding phases. The connecting piece can be guided and moved in response to the open or closed positions of the mold components. The novel feature is that at least one transfer pipe (20), with a longitudinal axis parallel to the mold opening and closing direction, extends between the diversion channel near the press nozzle and a return chamber (30) mounted in the connecting piece; is wedged in the annular seal; and is mounted slidably in the punch, sealed with respect to the molten material. The return chamber is connected via radial channel(s) (32) with an axial channel (33) crossing the connecting piece and connecting with axial channels (34) in the punches, each of which has a device (28a, 28b) for dosing the amount of material distributed by the nozzle. |
