A device for transporting and cleaning roots and tubers has a heap cleaner, which is made as a flat perforated sieve, the lower part of which containstwo driving beater rollers of a small diameter, rotating in the same direction forwarded to the outlet end of the sieve. From above the sieve a cascade of brushes is arranged, driven axles of which are arranged at the same straight-line, which is inclined at angle to the cleaning surface of the sieve. The brushes have the same rotational direction forwarded to the sieve, and from below the sieve an immovable rod cleaner of openings thereof connected to a mechanism of changing and fixing the positions relative to the main frame is arranged.
