METHOD TO CONTROL WEEVILS (COLEOPTERA, CURCULIONIDAE) IN FOREST BIOCENOSES

A method for controlling weevils (Coleoptera, Curculionidae) in forest biocenoses includes using prophylactic and destroying measures in the vegetation period. Pine seedlings are planted with the root system straightened in a vertical profile. In the period of spring reactivation of pests, imagos of the weevils are attracted on spaced trapping poles treated with aqueous solution of the preparation Aktara 25 WG. The trapping poles are placed on those sites only which are covered by a forest cover.
