A method for conveyor belts joining includes arrangement of edges on each other, displacement of their longitudinal axes in the transverse direction, working of connecting edges of belts, making on the width of the edge of cavities and protrusions, cutting of lateral faces of protrusions, putting the bonding layer of cold hardening, assembly of joint by successive connection of the cut off faces of the protrusions of one edge with appropriate faces of the protrusions of the second one, removal from the working and nonworking sides of the belt of rubber coverings, arrangement of power springs of cover plates, arrangement of rubber coverings, connection of the rubber coverings with the surface of the cover plates, hot vulcanization.
