A process for the preparation of the compound having potential physiological properties 1,1-diethylcarboxy-2-trifluoromethyl-2-(5'-bromouredyl-1'-)-ethylene by the reaction of nucleophylic substitution of 5-bromouracil as nucleophylic reagent with 1,1'- diethylcarboxy-2-chloro-2-trifluoromethyl ethylene, in which molecule chlorine atom is activatedwith two diethylcarboxy-groups, in the system of water-free solvents (diethyl ester - dimethyl formamide) in the presence of non-aqueous triethylamine as halogen-withdrawing agent.
