<p>The invention relates to the field of ferrous metallurgy. A powder-like wire for ladle desulphurization of cast-iron consists of the metal casing and powder-like filling agent which contains (20-40) wt. % of magnesium and (80-60) wt. % of passivator, at that preliminary alloyed synthetic slag which contains over 50 wt. % CaO and (2-10) wt. % (Na2O+K2O) with a basicity of (CaO/SiO2) > 3 as passivator is used. The invention allows to decrease the specific consumption of magnesium for cast-iron desulphurization and the cost of cast-iron desulphurization.</p> |
