The proposed current frequency converter with a direct-current stage provides generation of practically sine current and increase of power factor and speed of response when controlling frequency. For the purpose to realize the said advantages, the converter contains turnoff thyristors, an additional current converter with insulated-gate bipolar transistors, a capacitor, a voltage transducers for the direct-current source and the capacitor, a load voltage amplitude transducer, relay elements, adders, multipliers, a divider, logic elements, amplifiers, and signal forming circuits.
