<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an organic electroluminescence display device which solves the problems due to a deviation in the lifetime of EL elements by R, G, B, and its driving method. <P>SOLUTION: The organic electroluminescence display device is configured to include a gate driving circuit for generating scan signals by each sub-frame unit and sequentially providing a plurality of scanning lines with the signals, a data driving circuit for providing a plurality of data lines with the prescribed data signal at every application of the scan signal in the sub-frame unit, a light emission control signal generation circuit for generating first and second light emission control signals for controlling the light emission of the EL elements and providing a plurality of the light emission control lines with the control signals, a pixel section provided with a plurality of the scanning lines, data lines and light emission control lines, and a plurality of pixels connected to a plurality of power source lines, and arrayed in a matrix. The pixels are configured to include a first unit pixel section in which a plurality of unit pixels perform time divided control driving by sharing one pixel circuit and a second unit pixel section in which one unit pixel includes separate independent pixel circuits. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2007,JPO&INPIT |
