<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a compact deodorizing filter for exhausting gas in a kitchen with a high performance and which is low-cost and easy in maintenance, and to provide a deodorizing device and its manufacturing method. <P>SOLUTION: In the deodorizing filter for exhausting gas in a kitchen, an adsorbent 16 comprising a zeolite and/or activated carbon is carried on the surface of corrugated honeycomb base materials 15a, 15b by an inorganic binder. The zeolite has [SiO<SB>2</SB>]/[Al<SB>2</SB>O<SB>3</SB>] of 20 or more when the content of SiO<SB>2</SB>is [SiO<SB>2</SB>] mol and the content of Al<SB>2</SB>O<SB>3</SB>is [Al<SB>2</SB>O<SB>3</SB>] mol, and a specific surface area of 150 m<SP>2</SP>/g or more. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2007,JPO&INPIT |
