PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To register, in a slide dictionary, a long character string of high appearance frequency as an initial value. SOLUTION: Character strings in sample data are sorted into groups of character strings having leading three characters ("ABC") equal to each other. A character string of highest appearance frequency (most frequently appearing character string) is extracted from the sample data one by one for each group.
