PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image display device capable of preventing a difference between a subject that a user views and a subject to be photographed while suppressing an increase in size. SOLUTION: A camera unit 5 is situated so that its objective 17 may be disposed at a nearly X-axially center position of a first area 6 in a frame, i.e. at a nearby position in the middle of the forehead when the image display device 1 is mounted, and a ray of light from a subject is bent down (to the nose side) by a bending optical system 16 by nearly 90°(the camera unit 5 is situated along a transparent substrate 3).
