PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a piezoelectric resonator in which a plurality of electrodes for applying voltage to a piezoelectric resonation piece are rapidly and easily provided while keeping air tightness in a sealing container, and also to provide a manufacturing method thereof, an oscillator, a radio wave clock, and electronic equipment. SOLUTION: The piezoelectric resonator is provided with: a sealing container 2 in which a lid member 6 and a base member 7 are joined; a piezoelectric resonation piece 3; a plurality of electrodes 15 provided on the lid member 6 and applying voltage to the piezoelectric resonation piece 3; a plurality of leading-out electrodes 16 for allowing the electrodes 15 to extend to the edge of the lid member 6; an insulation film 22 provided over the leading-out electrodes 16, a first joining film 19 provided on the insulation film 22; a second joining film 20 provided on the base member 7; an eutectic alloy film 28 provided between the first and second joining films 19 and 20; and an external electrode 27 electrically connected from the side surface of the sealing container 2 to the leading-out electrodes 16.
