PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an electron emitting display in which a space occupied by an input terminal part of an anode electrode is made minimal and an unnecessary space other than an effective area can be reduced. SOLUTION: The electron emitting display provided with an anode electrode is composed of a first base plate 2 and a second base plate 4 which are placed facing each other and form a vacuum space, an electron emitting unit 8 fitted to the first base plate 2 and a light emitting unit 10 fitted to the second base plate 4. The light emitting unit 10 contains the anode electrode 28 formed on the second base plate 4, and the anode electrode 28 is practically placed in parallel with the first base plate 2 and is electrically connected with at least one anode terminal 30 placed on the first base plate 2 outside the vacuum space to be impressed with an anode voltage.
