PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a coating apparatus capable of forming a coating film onto each of many lenses in a short time. SOLUTION: In the coating apparatus of lens, a lens support part of a lens centering device 2, a lens support part of a lens coating device 5 and a lens support part of a lens drying device 7 are arranged at regular intervals. A pair of lens holding parts 80, 81 of a lens conveying device 8 are arranged so as to leave an interval equal to the interval of the respective lens support parts, the first lens holding part 80 of the lens holding parts conveys a lens 10 from the lens support part of the centering device 2 to the lens support part of the coating device 5 and, at the same time, the second lens holding part 81 of the lens holding parts conveys a lens 10 from the lens support part of the coating device 5 to the lens support part of the coating device 7.
