PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a safe and user-friendly gas cooking stove with effective utilization of a burner installation area, in a composition providing an operating part in a top face upper face. SOLUTION: In a glass top plate 3, three sides are supported by a top plate protecting member 18 provided below the glass top plate 3 and having a metal frame 19 with an outer circumference formed like a substantially U-shape, and the remaining one side is supported such that an end face is covered by an exhaust lid 14.
