PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent maximum speed from being varied by means of replacement of a V-belt, also to prevent the V-belt from being slipped and remarkably abrased and deteriorated, and further to restrain noise from being produced in a V-belt type continuously variable transmission. SOLUTION: The V-belt type continuously variable transmission is configured so that a resin washer 135 made of a nylon resin is intervened between a boss 117 which is fixed to a movable sheave half 72b of a secondary sheave 72 and a spring receiving member 119. Then, it is configured so that the movable sheave half 72b is restricted to position at the time of a top when a spacing between the movable sheave half 72b and a stationary sheave half 72a becomes maximum by the boss 117 contacting with the spring receiving member 119 via the resin washer 135.
