PHOTOSENSITIZER, PHOTOSENSITIVE ACID GENERATOR AND PHOTOCURABLE COMPOSITION

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a composition useful as a photosensitizer for a photocationically polymerizable composition, to provide a photosensitive acid generator comprising the photosensitizer and to provide a photocurable composition. SOLUTION: The photosensitizer more excellent in sensitizing effect than that of a photosensitizer using a thioxanthone derivative singly is produced by forming a photosensitizer comprising a thioxanthone derivative such as a 2-isopropyl thioxanthone or the like and a naphthalene derivative such as a 1,4-diethoxy naphthalene or the like in combination. The photosensitive acid generator is formed by combining the photosensitizer with a photocationic polymerization initiator such as a sulfonium salt or the like and the photocurable composition is produced by adding the photosensitive acid generator to a cationically polymerizable monomer.
