PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve manufacturing efficiency and provide an electronic part storing member and a method for manufacturing the electronic part storing member of which the cost can be reduced. SOLUTION: This invention relates to a method for manufacturing an electronic part storing member 1 having a substrate 2 and embossing portions 6 for storing electronic parts. As the substrate 2, a material having at least one layer of a heat-shrinkable film is applied, the substrate 2 is heated by a heater means 4 on an embossing die 3 having embossing protrusions 5 to cause the substrate 2 to be shrunk along the embossing die 3, thereby molding some embossing portions 6 on the substrate 2 with the embossing protrusions 5.
