PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a refrigerating cycle device for a vehicle capable of both improving accelerating performance of a vehicle engine and securing cooling performance when using a compressor having an inlet pressure control specification. SOLUTION: This refrigerating cycle device for the vehicle is provided with a judging means S110 judging an accelerating condition of the vehicle engine 11; a detecting means 13 detecting thermal load of an evaporator 6; a determining means S120 determining a minimum control signal Icmin to set allowable capacity of the compressor 2 in accordance with the thermal load obtained by the detecting means 13; and lowering and returning means S130, S140 lowering a control signal Ic to a variable capacity mechanism 15 to a value of the minimum control signal Icmin determined by the determining means S120 when the accelerating condition of the vehicle engine 11 is judged by the judging means S110 and then, sequentially returning the minimum control signal Icmin to a value of the control signal Ic before the judgement of the accelerating condition.
