PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a driving operation assist device for a vehicle capable of increasing and reducing the force on pedal required for treading an accelerator pedal in accordance with speed limit irrespective of speed of the vehicle. SOLUTION: This driving operation assist device 100 for the vehicle is provided with a limit speed detection means 10 for detecting speed limit of a road on which the vehicle runs and a pedal force-on-pedal control means 11 for increasing and reducing the force on pedal required for treading the accelerator pedal based on the limit speed detected by the speed limit detection means 10 by utilizing an ECU for an ETC.
