PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To solve the problem that when a reverse outlined character is recorded by using a liquid recording liquid, the recording liquid for a black coated part spreads to the reverse outlined character part by spreading the recording liquid, and the reverse outlined character is narrowed or becomes partly solid. SOLUTION: A noticeable pixel is set at the head of font data, and bit map data of the font data corresponding to a window are obtained. The data and data of a reference pattern adding a preset blank are compared with each other by pattern matching, and when they match with each other, the noticeable pixel is replaced to data indicating large droplets, and dots for a background part (blank part) adjoining the image dots for the reverse outlined character are made to be blank dots to make the reverse outlined character thick.
