PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a nanocluster structure with superior steam stability, capable of separating/purifying various reaction products, such as high-efficiency high-temperature hydrogen separation; and a separation module employing the structure. SOLUTION: The separation module has a network structure having permeable holes and constituted of 4- to 6-membered oxygen rings derived from a silica-based crystalline material. The 8- to 12-membered oxygen rings derived from the silica-based crystalline material are preferably impermeable holes. The method of manufacturing the separation module comprises a step for dissolving the silica-based crystalline material in an acid or alkali solution to obtain permeable hole cutting pieces comprising 4- to 6-membered oxygen rings derived from the silica-based crystalline material, and a step for applying the multiple permeable hole cutting pieces onto a support to thereby build up these cutting pieces.
