PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a filter case which facilitates replacement of a filter, and also can permanently keep a sealing function, and to provide a water cleaner easily usable without depending on the inside/outside. SOLUTION: The filter case is composed of: a filter storage tube with one end bottomed tubular shape for storing a filter; an inner cover for sealing the opening part in the upper end of the filter storage tube; and an upper cover provided with a feed port engaged with the upper part of the inner cover and feeding a liquid to the inside of the filter storage tube via the inner cover and with an exhaust port for exhausting the liquid fed to the inside of the filter storage tube via the inner cover. The inner cover is fitted so as to be freely attachable/detachable to/from the filter storage tube, the lower face of the upper cover is provided with annular groove parts, and O-rings are arranged at the groove parts.
