<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a fuel cell system capable of suppressing increase in power consumption and occurrence of noises caused by pump driving when discharging water. <P>SOLUTION: In a fuel cell system 1, a first volume from a circulation pump 32 to the inlet of a fuel cell stack 10 is set larger than a second volume from the exit of the fuel cell stack 10 to a control valve 33. Further, when assuming the flow path volume from the control valve 33 to the circulation pump 32 as a third volume while the volume equal to the third volume subtracted with the first volume as a fourth volume, the fourth volume is set larger than the second volume. Under this volume condition, the workload of the circulation pump 32 can be reduced when raising the pressure near a water recovery/discharge system 40. So, the fuel cell system 1 is suppressed in power consumption and noises. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2007,JPO&INPIT |
