PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a device stably controlling the starting of a vehicle by removing an influence that fluctuates measurement values due to the fact that irregular vibration is generated on a slope sensor in a vehicle advancement direction immediately after the starting of the vehicle. SOLUTION: Regarding a road surface slope in the starting of the vehicle, as the output information of a slope sensor mounted to the vehicle, the output information of the slope sensor during the stable stopping of the vehicle is temporarily retained and a temporarily retained value is utilized as the slope information of the vehicle until a vehicle speed reaches a predetermined value. After the vehicle is started, the temporarily retained slope information is reset and the output information of the slope sensor is switched to a state of being directly utilized.
