PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To easily engage an engagement part with an engagement means, in a seat belt fitting mechanism in which a seat belt is fitted to an occupant by engaging the engagement part provided in the seat belt with the engagement means. SOLUTION: In a seat mechanism 12, when a tongue plate 24 is engaged with a buckle 44 and the seat belt 20 is fitted to the occupant 18, the buckle 44 is arranged in a fitting position Q in a seat cushion 14A rear end part position. Meanwhile, the tongue plate 24 is not engaged with the buckle 44 and the seat belt 20 is not fitted to the occupant 18, the buckle 44 is arranged in an engaging position P in the vehicle front side from the fitting position Q. Therefore, the occupant can engage the tongue plate 24 with the buckle 44 while suppressing twisting of his/her upper body, and can easily engage the tongue plate 24 with the buckle 44.
