<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent breakage of a sensing section by dust conflict in gas to be measured, in a flow measuring device for measuring air flow, such as intake of an engine. <P>SOLUTION: This flow measuring device comprises a sensing section 30 for performing flow measuring of the gas to be measured, and inlet passages 21 and 100 for guiding the gas to be measured to the sensing section 30. A first obstruction member 50, having a smooth sectional shape in the flow direction of the gas to be measured, is disposed upstream of the sensing section 30 in the inlet passages 21 and 100. A second obstruction member 51, having a smooth sectional shape in the flow direction of the gas to be measured, is disposed downstream of the sensing section 30. When the first obstruction member 50 is seen from the upstream in the flow direction of the gas to be measured, the sensing section 30 is hidden behind the first obstruction member 50; and when the second obstruction member 51 is seen from the downstream, the sensing section 30 is hidden behind the second obstruction member 51. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2007,JPO&INPIT</p> |
