PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an apparatus and a method for drug delivery onto a human body surface. SOLUTION: A formulation is composed of a drug, a conversion agent for converting the formulation from a less solid phase to a coherent soft solid phase and a vehicle medium or a carrier for the drug and the conversion agent. The drug formulation in the less solid phase is applied onto the human body surface and then converted into a soft solid phase during the drug delivery through the human body surface. After completing the drug delivery, the soft solid formulation can be removed or peeled as a coherent solid formulation from the human body surface. The drug formulation can be subjected to control over the drug delivery rate and the formulation can be removed without leaving the stained formulation on the body surface. An applicator used for application onto the skin is composed of a container 12 containing the drug introduced thereinto, a nozzle 10 and a flat thin opening 16. COPYRIGHT: (C)2007,JPO&INPIT
