PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To process data having a structure that promptly determines read addresses of video and sub reproduction information such as a sub title, which is synchronously reproduced with the video, during random access. SOLUTION: An EP_map showing a correspondence between a PTS and an address, and a ClipMark showing each of reproducing sections of a sub title are created from AV stream data in which video and a sub title are multiplexed, and recorded separately from an AV stream file. In the EP_map for video, the PTS for reproduction time of an I picture of a video and an initial address in stream data of the corresponding I picture are described. In the EP_map for sub title, the PTS showing reproduction start time of a sub title, and information showing an initial address and an ending address in stream data of the corresponding sub title are described.
