PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an organic EL device having a longer luminescence life, an electronic apparatus, and a manufacturing method of the organic EL device. SOLUTION: This organic EL device 10 is a top emission type organic EL device. An element substrate 1 in which a plurality of light emitting elements L obtained by laminating anodes 5c, 5d, 5f having light transmissibility and a functional layer K containing an organic luminescent layer 7, and a cathode 9 having semi-transmissible reflectivity in order are formed is bonded to a sealed substrate 2 in which respective color elements 12r, 12g, 12b corresponding to a plurality of the light emitting elements L are formed through an adhesive layer 11. A gas barrier layers 16, 17 made of an oxidized silicon nitride having high light transmissibility and low gas permeability are provided on both of the element substrate 1 side facing the adhesive layer 11 and the sealing substrate 2 side.
