Method involves drying of convey air contained in the carrier-gas stream while it is extracted the fresh air or recirculating flow guidance of the passenger air-conditioning. The urea in solid form is supplied to SCR-catalyzer as reducing agent and gets converted to ammonia and carbon dioxide. The urea is taken from a urea supply and introduced by means of a metering device into a carrier-gas stream under formation of a urea aerosol.
