PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide asphalt roofing preventing degradation of working efficiency due to softening of asphalt even in summer of high temperature, having little surface degradation during exposure until the construction of the roof material, causing no dimensional change by moisture absorption, and preventing the lift of mineral plant powder and grain to attain safe construction of a roof material. SOLUTION: The roof underlayer material is constituted to sequentially laminate an acrylic resin layer 1, a mineral plant powder and grain layer 2, a fiber sheet layer 3 infiltrated with asphalt in a covering asphalt layer 4, the covering asphalt layer 4, a rag base paper layer 5 infiltrated with asphalt, a covering asphalt layer 6 and a mineral plant powder and grain layer 7. Alternatively, the roof underlayer material is constituted to sequentially laminate the acrylic resin layer 1, the mineral plant powder and grain layer 2, the fiber sheet layer 3 infiltrating asphalt of the covering asphalt layer 4, the covering asphalt layer 4, the rag base paper layer 5 infiltrating asphalt, a self-adhesive layer 8, and a release layer 9.
