PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an air cleaner having excellent assembling property and surely installable while suppressing an increase in the number of parts in assembling. SOLUTION: An insert material 85 formed of a cylindrical part 92 and a flange part 86 is prepared and insert-molded to a connecting tube 42 so that the base part 86a of the flange part 86 and the front part 92a of the cylindrical part 92 can be buried in the connecting tube 42. The flange part 86 is secured to an air cleaner case 65. Pin holes 87 are formed in the flange part 86. Pins 83 are projected from the outer surface 82 of the air cleaner case 65, and the pins 83 are passed through the pin holes 87 and the ends 83a of the pins 83 are heated and crushed to secure the flange part 86 to the air cleaner case 65.
