PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a floor material having excellent dimensional stability and easily executable in construction because of following unevenness existing in floor backing, more specifically, a floor material suitable for simple construction such as laying because of improvement in follow-up performance to the floor backing by maintaining the rigidity of the floor material in a fixed range. SOLUTION: The floor material formed of thermoplastic resin and having a dimensional stabilization layer can be easily executed at a normal temperature because the degree of rigidity at 23°C of the floor material is 500-1,300 kgf/cm<SP>2</SP>, and simple construction can be stably performed irrespective of the season or the cold and warm difference of areas by setting the degree of rigidity at 5°C into a range of 1,500-2,500 kgf/cm<SP>2</SP>.
