PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a device for bundling fiber strands in a spinning machine which is designed to control nipping/sticking of spun fibers to a crossing part of yarns composing a porous belt, improve the spinning properties and improve the durability of a porous belt without deteriorating the bundling/transferring function of the fiber strands. SOLUTION: The device for bundling the fiber strands is equipped with a nip roller pair 16 on the downstream side of the final delivering roller pair 13 of a drafting apparatus 12. Furthermore, the device is provided with a suction part 17 having guide surfaces 29b and 30b provided with suction holes 29a and 30a on both sides in the moving direction of the fiber strands F sandwiching the nipping point of the nip roller pair 16 and a porous belt 18 rotated while sliding on the guide surfaces 29b and 30b. The porous belt 18 is formed of a woven fabric composed so that heat fused yarns 34 have the crossing parts 35. Furthermore, the crossing parts 35 are partially fused so that fused regions 37 adjacent to the fused crossing parts 35 and a non-fused region 38 adjacent to the non-fused crossing parts 35 are alternately present in the longitudinal direction of the porous belt 18.
