PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a taphole facing bit which can easily replace a tooth point installed thereon that needs to be replaced, when some of a plurality of the tooth points are damaged or worn out, always provides a sharp tooth point, and consequently improves the efficiency of leveling work. SOLUTION: The taphole facing bit 1 is mounted on a leveling device which is used for smoothly leveling a taphole face, and has through-holes 4 for inserting a base 2 which has a plurality of the tooth points 3 installed on the front-face, opened in a plurality of sites of the front-face. The base having the tooth points is inserted in the through-holes. The leveling device can smoothly level the taphole face, by pressing the taphole facing bit onto the taphole face while rotating the taphole facing bit. COPYRIGHT: (C)2007,JPO&INPIT
