PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an optical annunciating system for surely annunciating to users by visual observation that it is a preset time. SOLUTION: An article P used during announcement includes an optical annunciator 1 comprising a power source 2, an emission means 3, and a timer switch 4 for outputting a current to the emission means 3 from the power source 2 when it is an annunciating set time by setting a time starting to output the current from the power source 2 to the emission means 3. Then, the article P used during announcement is any one of an instrument, food, a portable bag and suitcase, a telephone set, a mobile phone, a timepiece, a doll, and a key holder.
