PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a control method of an atomized fuel machine, and the atomized fuel machine, being adaptive without changing a control parameter in changing a type of solid fuel supplied to the atomized fuel machine. SOLUTION: The atomized fuel machine 1 includes a pulverizing part 13 for pulverizing supplied solid fuel to turn into atomized fuel, and a classifying part 15 for classifying a particle size of the atomized fuel and supplying the atomized fuel to an external, and is further provided with detection means 33, 45 for detecting a load of the pulverizing part 13 which changes depending on an amount of the solid fuel accumulated in the pulverizing part 13. The amount of the solid fuel accumulated in the pulverizing part 13 is controlled by controlling the pulverizing part 13 and/or the classifying part 15 based on outputs of the detection means 33, 45.
