PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To securely hold a pump in safety and to easily replace the pump or an optical sensor when an abnormality occurs therein. SOLUTION: A liquid level detector is composed of a vertically-long printed board provided with an optical sensor circuit at its lower side, and a detection holder integrally molded in a state of wrapping only the lower side of the printed board by a transparent synthetic resin, a mechanism for detachably and unrotatably connecting the liquid level detector is mounted on a pump main body in an area corresponding to just under a terminal board, an upper end portion of the printed board not wrapped by the transparent synthetic resin reaches the inside of the terminal board when the liquid level detector is mounted on the pump main body, and a printed conductor electrically connected with the optical sensor circuit at the upper end portion of the printed board, is held in a state of being slidably kept into contact with a terminal to be electrically connected with an external pump driving controlling circuit in the terminal board.
