PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a guide tube for an endoscope which is capable of preferably illuminating a subject brightly far so as to easily image the subject matched with the curving operation of the endoscope without being bulky while improving the insertability of the endoscope. SOLUTION: The guide tube for the endoscope comprises a long-length cylindrical guide part 21 and a cylindrical curve part 31 provided on the guide part 21 so as to extend the long-length cylindrical shape from the distal end of the guide part 21. The curve part 31 is constituted of a flexible metal net N, and an LED 37 separate from the endoscope 10 is attached to the inside 35a of a base 35 constituting the distal end side opening of the curve part.
