<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a snow-melting system which is connected to the output of wind power generation and solar power generation means for multiplying a voltage, generated by the wind power generation and solar power generation means, so as to turn the voltage into a predetermined one, and which effectively utilizes heat generated by a transistor used in a boost converter. <P>SOLUTION: This snow-melting system comprises: a wind power generator 12 for generating electric power by using a wind force; a solar power generator 14 for generating the electric power by using sunlight; the boost converter 16 which multiplies the voltage, generated by the generators 12 and/or 14, so as to output the predetermined voltage; a control circuit part 18 which switches a first transistor 16a of the boost converter 16; a capacitor 20 for storing the output power of the boost converter 16; and an electric heater 22 which is connected to the output of the boost converter 16 and that of the capacitor 20. Snow, which adheres to a structure, is melted by using the heat of the electric heater 22, and/or the heat generated by the first transistor 16a of the boost converter 16. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2007,JPO&INPIT |
