<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a control method which can stop a power converter, without generating unwanted surge voltage, etc. at its operation stoppage. <P>SOLUTION: This control method is for a power converter which is connected to two or more DC power sources 10a and 10b and generates drive voltage for a load, by generating and synthesizing pulses from each output voltage of these DC power sources, being the power converter 30 for driving a motor 20. The power converter is equipped with two or more switches 101a, etc. for switching on or switching off the path between each DC power source and the load. The switch for the current path from each DC power source to the load are switched off at stoppage of the power converter, and also the switch for the current path from the load to each DC power source is switched off. Moreover, the switch from each DC power source to the load is switched off, and the switch for the current path from the load to each DC power source is switched on out of the two or more switches, from the operation/stoppage judgement signal of the power converter and the ON/OFF signals of the two or more switches. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2007,JPO&INPIT |
