<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an energy demand management device that makes it possible to minimize an energy supply cost in a distributed energy community. <P>SOLUTION: The cooperative control unit 44C of the energy demand management device 44 detects that an actual energy consumed has exceeded a threshold value, when an estimated energy consumed is taken as the threshold value, in a period of time at 9:50, for example. In the other periods of time, it controls all the load devices for which a customer's permission for cooperative control (permission for remote control) is registered beforehand in a load information database 44B so that the energy consumed is reduced. For example, it controls the set temperature of air-conditioning equipment, the brightness of lighting equipment, and the like so that the energy consumed is reduced.
