PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a flywheel magnet rotor for preventing water from entering into a flywheel through a ventilation hole provided on a bottom wall of the flywheel and infiltrating between a magnet protecting cover and a circumferential wall of the flywheel, and eliminating a risk for rusting the magnet. SOLUTION: An annular waterproof protruded rim 1e for enclosing a boss 1c is formed within the bottom wall 1b of the flywheel in the flywheel magnet rotor FWR. The magnet protecting cover 4 is provided with a cylindrical cover body 401 for covering an inner circumference of a permanent magnet 2, an annular outer flange 402 disposed at one end of the cover body 401 in the axial direction, and an annular inner flange 403 disposed at the other end of the cover body in the axial direction. The outer flange 402 of the magnet protecting cover is disposed and covers an end face of the magnet 2 at an opening of the flywheel in the axial direction. The inner flange 403 is disposed outside the waterproof protruded rim 1e while it is positioned closer to the bottom wall 1b of the flywheel than a top 1e1 of the protruded rim 1e.
