PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a retransmission control method and a reception side device for enabling transmission delay caused by retransmission control about a packet to be prevented by quickly detecting deficiency of the packet caused by erroneous detection of transmission confirming information in HARQ retransmission control. SOLUTION: A retransmission control method according to the present invention comprises a packet transmitting process for transmitting the packet in the order of transmission sequence number which is added to the packet according to a physical data channel performed mapping about transport channel by a transmission side device 10, a transmission sequence number transmitting process for transmitting the transmission sequence number via a physical control channel related with the physical data channel by the transmission side device 10, a deficiency detecting process for detecting deficiency of the packet based on the transmission sequence number received via the physical control channel by a reception side device 30, and a retransmission requesting process for performing a retransmission request of the deficient packet by the reception side device 30.
