PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a drain port cover for a sink allowing a slime removing agent to be efficiently effective for a long period of time by applying liquid containing the slime removing agent to efficiently spread out as wide as possible to a peripheral wall or the like of a strainer. SOLUTION: The drain port cover for the sink has an annular part 2 provided with a diameter lockable to the edge of a drain port with the strainer 1 of the sink, and a top plate part 4 supported by plate-like leg parts 3 rising with a space in the circumferential direction of the annular part 2, and provided with a clearance from the annular part 2 so that water can be drained from the clearance between the top plate part 4 and the annular part 2. A basket-type permeable container 5 storing the slime removing agent is held to the back side of the top plate part 4, and grooves 6 with downward groove faces are radially provided from the permeable container 5 toward the outer peripheral edge of the annular part 2. Further, grooves 7 with the groove faces arranged downward are provided from the edge of the top plate 4 toward the permeable container 5, and water can flow down dripping from water passages formed of these grooves.
